Many years ago, for a big international meeting, I spent HOURS working, even on weekends, on a presentation that my boss would deliver. I designed it with my heart, I took extra hours to put in originality, clarity and beauty. I wanted it not just to be valuable, I wanted it to be memorable! And it was. My boss got lots of compliments and praises. Some joked with him, wondering if he had been inspired by grace.
I remember it clearly because I stood next to him when he received all these compliments about my work and at NO point, he thanked me or even mentioned me.
I will tell you during the workshop what I did to “restore order” so that the universe can enjoy balance and fairness…
